Our son, with Heather's support and encouragement, persevered and completed the program! From wondering to whether our son would pass fourth grade to watching him successfully work with Heather was quite a journey. He is now a junior in high school and is not only working at grade level. But he is taking college courses at our local Jr. College. We are very thankful for Heather and her excellent tutoring.

The Barton program was one of the greatest blessings in my life, it provided me with the necessary tool to succeed within school. I've learned to use these tools subconsciously, they have become part of my everyday routine. I've become confident when asked to read out loud in class because I have been equipped with the tools to be able to do it well. I wouldn't trade my experience in this program with Mrs Heather for anything else. Dyslexia is not a problem that will go away with time, the struggles will follow you throughout your life, so if you are met with the decision to enroll in this program you should take it.

I am a mom of four, and my two youngest are faced with the challenges that come with dyslexia. Heather began working with them when they were very young. The lessons through the Barton Program, Mrs. Steinbeck's hard work and caring demeanor, and simply her overall investment in our children changed the trajectory of their lives. Both of them struggled to read, disliked school tremendously and were frustrated on the daily. Because of Heather and her knowledge of dyslexia and the Barton System- this quickly changed. She built their confidence and gave them the tools they needed to tackle their assignments and face life head on. They are both now thriving and can read ANYTHING!
